Teen refuses field sobriety tests in Santa Rosa wreck

The California Highway Patrol responded to an accident involving injury in Santa Rosa that occurred on Hwy. 12 just east of Stony Point Road. The crash occurred at approximately 15 minutes past midnight on a recent Saturday.

According to a CHP Officer, four fled from the accident scene involving a Toyota 4Runner that flipped over but landed on all four wheels. When the 19-year-old driver was located by a Santa Rosa policeman at a shopping center near the scene of the collision, he tried to deny any involvement in the accident. However, not only was the teen’s name on the vehicle registration, he also had a visible head laceration consistent with being involved in a MVA.
